WORSHIP
Worship for Act1v8 Youth is led by students. Songs included in the worship time are a mixture of new contemporary music, Psalms, and contemporized hymns.
COMING SOON
Virtuous Women - Virtuous Women is a small group for young ladies ages 12 - 17 where we discuss and teach about what it is to be a godly woman.
Men of God - Men of God is a small group for young men ages 12 - 17 where we will discuss and teach about what is to be a godly man.
Start date for these small groups is Aug 24th. They will be on Wednesday nights following Act1v8 Youths time of worship and New City Catechism.
SERVICE
It is our joy to be able to minster to teenagers every Wednesday night and Sunday morning. We imitate our Lord’s Day worship every Wednesday night. This includes singing hymns, psalms, and spiritual songs, going over historical protestant orthodox catechisms, and an expository bible study. This is vitally important for students so that when they enter a Lord’s Day worship service, they will be familiar with the atmosphere, the focus being on Christ and Christ alone. However, when needed, we will offer small groups in the place of or even after the sermon for detailed, person, and spiritual discussion.
SMALL GROUPS
First Baptist Church and Act1v8 Youth understand that one of the most important factors in spiritual growth is community. Our adult leaders work hard to create an opportunity for real spiritual growth. This is what Act1v8 Youth desires for each student to discover. Each group will have prayer, discussion, and serve together.
Sun Small Group: Sunday mornings at 9:30am.
Wed Small Group: Student groups are only strictly separated by sex (boy/girl)
